Tokenview MCP
Tokenview MCP
The Tokenview MCP server connects AI agents to live onchain data across Tokenview supported chains, over MCP. Connect it to a client like Claude Desktop, Claude Code, or Codex, then ask in plain language and get answers grounded in real Tokenview API responses.
Supported chains: BTC, ETH, TRON, LTC, BCH, DOGE, ETC, DASH, OMNI-USDT, RVN.
Connection Details
Tokenview runs MCP server over the Streamable HTTP transport. The authenticated server uses your API key.
Authenticated server
URL: https://mcp.tokenview.io/mcp
Authentication: Authorization: Bearer <your API key>. Please get API key from https://services.tokenview.io.
Tools: All 12
Get Started
The steps below connect the authenticated server. First, create an API key if you do not have one. Then pick your client below and follow it end to end.
Example Prompts
Ask in plain language and let the agent pick the tools. Copy one to try it:
BTC Wallet Balance
Get the balance of wallet 32BfKjhByDSxx3BM5vUkQ3NQq9csZR6nt6.ETH Wallet Balance
Get the balance of wallet 0xafacb45aa798076b15ebb3f27ee7f0a0f7169099.ETH First received transaction
Get the first received ETH for wallet 0xafacb45aa798076b15ebb3f27ee7f0a0f7169099.
Tools
The authenticated server exposes 12 tools. The agent selects and calls them for you; you rarely name a tool yourself.
| Category | Tool | Return |
|---|---|---|
| Chain Basic Info | get_supported_chains | An array of all supported blockchain networks, including chain ID, chain name, and the name & URL of corresponding block explorer |
| Native Balance Query | get_native_balance | Returns the native coin balance of the target address, and automatically identifies mainstream chain types like BTC, ETH, TRON |
| Token Balance Query | get_token_balances | Returns the token balance list of the specified address, and supports intelligent fuzzy matching of multi-chain assets by token hash |
| USDT Exclusive Query | get_usdt_balance | Returns the multi-chain USDT balance of the target address, natively compatible with 3 mainstream USDT protocols: TRC20, ERC20 and Omni |
| Single Transaction Query | get_transaction_info | Returns the complete on-chain raw transaction data of the specified tx hash. It will automatically scan all compatible networks in parallel if no chain is specified |
| Normal Transaction List | get_normal_transaction_list | Returns paginated native coin normal transaction records of the address, and automatically performs multi-chain parallel scanning when no chain is specified |
| Token Transaction List | get_token_transaction_list | Returns paginated token transaction history of the specified token contract address, and supports automatic multi-chain scanning without specifying a chain |
| Contract Internal Transaction | get_call_transaction_list | Returns paginated contract internal call records on EVM chains. It only supports ETH-series public chains, and is not compatible with BTC and TRON networks |
| USDT Transaction List | get_usdt_transaction_list | Returns paginated full-protocol USDT transaction history of the target address, natively adapting to TRC20, ERC20 and Omni address formats |
| Token Metadata | get_token_info | Returns complete metadata of the specified token contract address, including core attributes like symbol, full name, total supply and decimals |
| Gas Fee Prediction | get_gas_oracle | Returns real-time ETH gas fee recommendations, including the next block number, base fee projection, and low/mid/high priority fee estimates |
| First Received Tx Query | get_first_received | Returns the details of the first historical normal transaction that the ETH address received native assets, only supporting Ethereum address format |
Good to know
Read-only. Every tool reads public onchain data. Nothing signs or sends a transaction.
On the authenticated server, every tool call uses your API quota. Each MCP tool call makes one or more Tokenview API requests, and every request counts toward your API plan’s rate limits, exactly like calling the API directly.
Guard against prompt injection. Enable your client’s human-confirmation prompts, and be cautious when combining Tokenview with other MCP servers in the same session.
